Homefuud Inc. (“we” or “us”) provides this Privacy Policy to inform you of our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information we receive from users of Homefuud mobile applications, website and APIs. homefuud Inc. provides platform, services and online market place by which users (hosts) may invite other users (foodies) to host and offer meals at their homes.

This Privacy Policy applies only to information that you provide to us through the mobile application and website. This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. If we make a material change we will notify you by email (sent to the e-mail address specified in your Homefuud Account) or by means of a notice on the website and mobile application prior to the change becoming effective. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms of Service.

As used in this policy, the terms “using” and “processing” information include using cookies on a computer or mobile device, subjecting the information to statistical or other analysis and using or handling information in any way, including, but not limited to collecting, storing, evaluating, modifying, deleting, using, combining, disclosing and transferring information within our organization or among our affiliates internationally.

We may collect and process information that you provide by filling in forms on our mobile application (our app) and/or via a third-party account (e.g. Facebook, Twitter). This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our site, opening a host/foodie account, posting material, editing your profile, making a reservation, and includes but is not limited to your name, address, email address, phone number and if you are a host (a user who offers meals), bank account, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal (and any other online payment methods) details, or if you are a foodie (a user who reserves meals) and make a reservation via our mobile application, billing information. We may also ask you for information when you enter a competition or promotion sponsored by us, and when you report a problem with our site or a booking. If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence. We may also keep details of transactions you carry out through our application and your reservations. We may further keep details of your usage of our mobile application including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data and other communication data, whether this is required for our own billing purposes or otherwise and the resources that you access.

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information. We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. All Members may review, update, correct or delete the Personal Information in their registration profile. If you would like us to cancel your Homefuud Account, please contact us and we will attempt to accommodate your request if we do not have any legal obligation or a legitimate business reason to retain the information contained in your Homefuud Account. Please note that, if you cancel your Homefuud Account, any reviews you have posted via the Application will remain publicly viewable via the Site and Application.

This online privacy policy applies only to information collected through our website and not to information collected offline.
